Spring is long. Summer climate is warm during the day and cool during the night, which postpones the ripeness of the grapes. The river breeze airs the plants and allows a slow ripeness that extends into fall. In this way, grapes acquire an intense color and a deep aroma of fruits. The average temperature in summer is 21°C (70° F) and in winter 6°C (42° F). The average annual rain does not exceed 200 mm.
